Kat - that's the one. I've not managed to get a picture of them yet, but there are a couple of other native birds on my Flickr site here.

A trip up the Coromandel penninsula today added oyster catchers, stilt, black billed gull, black backed gull, little shag, pied shag (karuhiruhi), grey teal (probably) and arctic skua - a first for me on the skua front!
