It's still too squishy out there to mow, but I did go scoop the dog poop and pull a bunch of tall thistles and dandelion relations. Some tall itchy composite like a thistle but with yellow flowers instead. Anyway, the pile is higher on the compost and the lawn, while it needs mowing, doesn't look quite so wild.

The dogs need a walk. They've been cooped up too much with the rain and are like a couple of cranky kids this afternoon. The bread is baking right now, so we'll wait until it's cooling. The house will smell so welcoming when we return!
