No. I'm saying that he's still not defining being open-minded. He's just confirming what one narrow-thinking, narrow-minded group wants to believe about another group that may or may not be equally narrow-thinking/narrow-minded. But, of course, we'd never know if it is equally narrow-minded or less narrow-minded because, in perfect strawman fashion, he has defined the other group for them and for us.
