Thanks, Dan, that makes a lot of sense. I figured that I've got at least 3 key sequences to get stuck in on - C, F, G, which is quite a lot of songs. Just by playing around with the adjacent buttons you can get some harmonically sympathetic sounds going, and picking individual strings gives even further variation.

I've seen it mainly used as a strumming instrument to accompany singing. Do you know of any YouTube links that show it being played more melodically (ie picking out tunes)?
