The Old Road Tavern host at least three session mid-day and evening, and on Sunday the Barn is full of french music &/or dancing (cosy too).

The Rose & Crown used to have English sessions but last year it was closed. The Borough Arms (as was - now called something else but you it still gets listed as such) opposite the cinema (as was) has a mid-day session, you can see it from the bus station looking towards the campsite (hidden). How helpful is that?

The Black Horse has music at times - particularly when the ceilidhs are on (mid-day).

And next door to the Old Road Tavern, Floss or someone will be having an evening session - the name of the pub escapes me , Volunteer, Fountain, er its in the Old Raod anyways.
