April 30th OPEN NIGHT - FREE ADMISSION

This night was originally advertised as an evening with the exciting new Hungarian band, The Palinka Band. However, one of their members has become seriously ill and has returned to Hungary and the band have been forced to cancel the appearance. As we have not been able to come up with a replacement that would be even a vaguely suitable replacement for a vibrant young Eastern European female quartet, we have decided to hold one of our occasional free admission Open Nights and give the many performers who support our venture more of a chance to sing and play that they very limited opportunities that they get on our guest nights.

Also we would love to see performers and listeners at our monthly tune and song session in the bar of the Royal Oak this coming Sunday - all welcome.

The second of our monthly Sunday afternoon song and tune sessions at the Royal Oak. All are welcome to come along and join in, play, sing or just listen. The intention is that singers and musicians should get an equal part in the proceedings.
