According to the county-by-county map at the Iowa City Press-Citizen website it looks like around 200 had applied as of 11:37 AM (local time). Not an exact figure, the map gives amounts for each county but doesn't total them up. A waiver can be requested from a judge to wed right away, otherwise the couple must wait three days.
