I loved that old Netscape setup, but I used their separate email there, also. Now I use gmail more than others, but I download it into Mozilla Thunderbird (or access it in web version, from my Google Toolbar in FireFox or IE8). Does SeaMonkey allow web access only, or does it have an app that lets you download your mail (from whatever program) into a resident program on the computer?

That question is more for my edification than for solving your problem. I have SeaMonkey on my computer but I haven't taken the time to set it up with an identity and such.

Are you using one computer for the two of you? Are you logged in both as administrators, and are you logging in on that computer under different usernames, or do you have both of these email and browser accounts set up in one computer user administrator account?
