The republicans are not going away, they're gonna join the democratics & delouse, deloude, delete & dilute the really right party. Partly out of revenge & frustration, partly because if "you can't beat 'em, join 'em" & lastly, in part to dissolve their power.

Texas cannot secede. They are already considered to be part of South America & South America, as everyone knows wants nothing to do with the Great White South. They may pray for rain & for the Mississippi to change it's course & between that & the Colorado they could become an island onto themselves.
