I thought it was sad. I've seen starving women in Ireland who are begging on the streets for their children because their husbands drank away the money. There is the sting of truth in this song.

Celtic Woman has not addressed this issue because of the social implication of the exploitation of women by the "authoritative" (Magisterial) elements of male Ireland.

I really don't think that this is too funny because it is real.
