"Londonderry Air" was forever ruined for me by "Danny Boy". I've always hated "Old Joe Clark", tune, words, everything about it. I like "Angeline the Baker" but I hate playing it on the dulcimer. A fiddler friend of mine often requests "Run-Down Boot", which makes me want to get up and leave.

Mostly, I go crazy when the group with which I'm playing insists on going through dozens and dozens of songs at slow to medium speeds because they're afraid to play fast. "Rosin the Bow" is NOT a dirge. I can understand playing slowly to learn, but after you've been playing the basic version for two years, you should be able to get it up to speed.
