Buttercups are lovely in some places. I've never been where they were weeds, just wildflowers.

Amazing how our decluttering turns to gardening, isn't it? I brought home another load of free composted mulch. I mowed the front lawn (last night I hit it hard with the trimmer, took some spots way down, so I didn't have to get so creative with moving the mower in and out of tight spots).

This evening I'm going to create some leftovers. I like using chicken to shred and put in quesadillas for lunch or dinner, and yesterday when I was over at Sam's Club their chickens weren't done. I didn't have time to wait and didn't want to drive back and I have some chickens in the freezer, so I thawed one to bake this evening. And some other stuff, several things in the oven at once are more efficient.

My son posted a link to this at Facebook. I remember some of this stuff, sorry to say. But you don't have to look far to still see stupid sexist ads. Anyone grind their teeth any time Spray 'n Wash has that man in the brand-name t-shirt approach or lecture to groups of women (all who apparently can't read labels or tags) and teach them how to do laundry? I remarked under my son's link that the idea that there is some science behind the laundry cleaning, that they could portray a scientific type and (amazing!) that scientific sort could be a woman as well as a man, and the people doing laundry (even more revolutionary, I know!) could be women AND men!

Off my soap box. . .
