In the end I couldn't get down to Melbourne. I had a few problems on the farm that took precedence so just for a while I took a break and sat up on the hill looking down on the valley and played my dulcimer and sang "Oh had I a golden thread". It still felt like being part of something great and the work went better for doing it.
