But I believe we have discovered the source of your problem.

A little while back at work we were discussing rice cookers. I said I thought they were the stupidest invention of the 21st century. A fellow worker later sent me an outraged message that he used a rice cooker and did not appreciate my calling him stupid. That is the short version; he actually went on for about 30 paragraphs and brought in every chef since Julia Child.

I still think rice cookers are stupid. I never said or implied that he was stupid.
