Just in case anyone is interested and doesn't know the results of the Pittsburgh Penguins vs Washington Capitals ice hockey game on Wednesday 5/13/2009, the Penguins won with a score of 6-2.

"The Penguins will face the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference final...

The Penguins will have home-ice advantage in the series, which will begin Monday.

The Penguins captured the season series, 2-1-1, but Carolina won the most recent meeting, 3-2, in overtime April 4 at the RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C.

This will be the first playoff meeting between the Penguins and Hurricanes.

The winner of the Penguins-Carolina series will face the winner of the Western Conference final between Detroit and Chicago in the Stanley Cup final."
