Breaking the silence on burakumin - Minority community has plenty to offer

I knew nothing either, thanks for the article, & I'm a great fan of Japanese culture. I assume if I asked my Japanese acquaintances (in a craft group run by a friend's church where I'm the only non-parishioner) about this article I'd embarrass them.
