There is a song done by the Andrew Sisters called "Drinkin Rum and Coca Cola" which has the type of calypso rythm Belafonte uses. It might be a version of that. As far as I can recal the chorus is

Drinkin' Rum and Coca Cola
Go down like cool manna
Mother and Daughter
Workin' for the Yankee dollah
