I just checked the schedule and there is at least one singing workshop in every time slot. Also, informal arrangements could be made with workshop singers outside of the schedule. I see that Pete Peterson and Kellie Allen are only scheduled to give one singing workshop, but I would bet you could talk them into one or more informal song sessions when they're not scheduled or at night. I mention Pete and Kellie because I know them well, but the same is probably true with some, if not all, of the other fine singers they have on staff this year.

I was on staff a couple of years ago and have to say that the Simple Gifts folks have the Folk College run like a well-oiled machine. The ratio of singing to instrumental sessions is probably due to the attendees' interests. They solicit lots of feedback and take it very seriously. Talk to Linda, Karen and Rachel (Simple Gifts) about it.
