The US military now has an unwritten litmus test of religiousity. The Air Force is the most extreme faith based branch of service at this time.

A religious Crusade is exactly how this war is sold to many US soldiers today. Jihad and crusade are interchangable.

When an investigative reporter is given top secret documents I do not besmirch the publication that is willing to publish them.
Gen Franks was featured in Esquire Magazine exclusive. I recall many land breaking inteviews in Playboy. There is more in the publishing world than the National Review and Newsweek.
