I think we have reached a tipping point with near insanity over animals being "family." I have seen three dogs in church now, one very big. I am constantly harrassed by loose dogs when I am walking. On a TV show a woman brought a little dog with her to work and expected everyone to accomodate it. I wish no harm to animals but I want them outside and leashed or fenced. Taken to extremes, you have a situation like the chimp that attacked that poor woman..and besides being allergic, many people are deathly afraid of some animals...I am not and I will stand my ground with dogs and I will call the police on their idiot owners if they let them run loose and harass people..if they are just loose of course I don;t but if there is aggressive behavior then I for sure will. .mg
