absolutely amazing talents

It might be worth mentioning here that Brian Gulland has a distinguished career in fine folk music taking in Malicorne and The New Scorpion Band on the way... Though I still remember him as the hirsute bassoon player in Gryphon - a band who once appeared on Blue Peter (those were the days!) introduced by John Noakes as the Medieval Slade. Seminal stuff!
