Well, after a bit of a delay we've at last got our air tickets booked *hurrah*
We'll travel up to Boston (Logan) on the afternoon of Friday 25th September so that we can join the fun at the Portsmouth Maritime Festival. I might even get to sing a few songs there if I behave myself *grin*
We plan to go down to Philly on the Monday (28th, on the train-line that Micca has recommended) so we can spend a few days with my Sister who lives there now. Her birthday is on the 30th, so it would be nice to find a Folkie event to take her to, any suggestions anyone?
Then we'll get to the Getaway, we are so looking forward to meeting and hearing everyone!!
Many thanks to all Catters who have offered to help us with travel & overnighting, we're novice travellers so we'll really appreciate your kind assistance. What a wonderful place this MudCat is, it makes the world smaller and more like a family!
