Liz, I understand. That hand-basket probably gets a little crowded at times.

I took apart the string trimmer this evening and refilled it, ready for morning. I looked around here this afternoon and the house has had a case of the "creeping crud" for a while, but I'm onto it now. Since it is dark out I'm better spending a little time before bed working on the house rather than the yard. I've set up the laptop in the living room to watch the big TV while I work (I need to delete a lot of old email from work). It's a kind of mindless task, so I can watch a mystery I've already seen.

A load of laundry can go in to wash, ready to dry on the line tomorrow, and I'll putter around the kitchen, putting away the piles of paper that have built up.

I added another post to the blog; I want to diversify away from the garden but so far those have been most interesting. I can start new pages but I'm not sure how they will load, so I'll experiment a little. Tonight I put in some thoughts about the dogs and their hunting. The Catahoula killed a snake today (usually the pit bull does the most successful hunting, but based on the blood on the dogs, Poppy is the one that made this score).
