Our pump gave out on Friday night so minimal gardening is going on this weekend. We had planned to get most things in but without water, it's just going to have to wait. RidgePlucker is rototilling the back, back garden (as opposed to the back garden) and I am still working on cleaning out last year's pots to get them ready for herbs, flowers, tomatoes and peppers. Last year I grew some kick ass poblano peppers on the back deck....it was the first year I'd had any success with any kind of pepper and I was very pleased...looking forward to that challenge again this summer!

I need to clean out my car. I have an old step stool that was my Nana's and it works great for when the car is parked on a hill and I need it to help reach the straps for my kayak. The problem is is that the paint has started to flake off in a BIG way making a snowfield of paint flakes in the back of my car. I'm hoping to sand the stool down today and paint it. I have leftover paint from all the interior house painting this winter and spring so I have many colors to choose from. I'm thinking purple!!!
