Hi MOM. I et early so as to not have probable storms snuff out the charcoal. Only had one little spate of sprinkles. Don't eat much meat, so don't grill often and am prone to overcook the meat.

However, the steak was absolutely perfect! Somewhere between medium-rare and medium, which is just how I likes 'em. Fixed the asparagus on the grill also. The whole bunch of it, drizzled with olive oil and lemon and cracked pepper. 'Twere also perfect.


Ate out on the patio and watched the birds in the Mulberry.

Haven't spoken or heard a word spoken all day. Sorry none of yuse could join me but I sure do love the peace and quiet.

Right here, right now, I am content.
