In normal tuning, I use D / C / Am chords, or Dm/C/Am depending on what mood i want. I'm trying to learn stuff in DADGAD tuning, but the best I can come up with at the moment is the 1st 2 chord which are repeated. The 1st one is all strings open except the G which is stopped at an A. This makes all the notes either D or A, eliminating the 3rd so its not major or minor. the 2nd chord at the moment I play all open strings.

Someone who actually knows a bit about DADGAD might be able to describe that better!
