On June 14th the town of Beverley here in the UK is holding a day of events celebrating local soldiers, sailors, airmen etc and as part of that The Sun Inn (our local music venue)is hosting a musical event featuring wartime songs and tunes.

To that end all musicians are invited to turn up from 2pm to play and sing appropriate numbers - I'm sure that some slippage of the theme will occur during the day and that any music will be welcome if you don't have anything that fits.

The pub is being decorated with wartime memorabilia and the staff will be in costume/uniform - customers and musicians are invited to dress up likewise. If anyone has any items that they could lend to the landlady for display it would be much appreciated.
