Celticblues (and others!)

I thought Heartbeat would have made PBS but come to think of it we get it on TVO.

Like Hamish, Balleykissangel, it is set in a small town/village. This time in Yorkshire. Set in the mid-sixties it is about the police force in the Aidensfield. Main policeman is from London originally. Lot of the life is centred around the pub. Greengrass is the village rogue who is always on the con. (A Brit reference - it's weird seeing Derek Fowlds more like Dixon of Dock Green than Basil Brushes's sidekick). The sound track is all 60's pop/rock and roll - eg haven't heard "Bits and Pieces" by the Dave Clark 5 for decades! Hope you can get it sometime.
