OldDude, thank you so much. I think with our taste in music we are on the same page.
I enjoy your work so much.

I love the old story-songs, the hard-hitting ballads, the hard-times ditties, and it brings
up memories of traveling through the south with Guy Carawan and Jack Elliott in search of songs in 1954. I learned so much from Bess and Butch Hawes (of the Almanac Singers)
and from hangin' with Woody in Topanga Canyon. Of course, Pete Seeger.

I like the songs that tell the feelings without preaching, just the way things were.
I have great admiration for the contemporary songwriters who can do this. Jean Ritchie. Steve Earle, Tom Paxton and many whose names are not known but tell a great story.

If anyone likes my CD at all I am extremely grateful.

Frank
