"Ashamed to be a folk artist she pretends to be a pop star"

Erm, I'm not quite sure how Eliza pretends to be a pop star, nor is ashamed to be a folk artist...

Maybe when she's playing the fiddle for Goathland Plough Stots or Bampton morris? When giving her time for free in concerts to benefit the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library? When making rcords full of well-researched traditional songs both as a solo artist and with her family? By becoming the vice president of EFDSS?

Yes, I can see what you mean - she is definitely showing signs of being ashamed of the tradition.
