Are you being koi, BWL?

I have an urban creek in my back yard. As far as I know there are no abandoned shopping carts washed into this stretch of it, but at any of the major street crossings all sorts of crap has been thrown into it. It does very well with wildlife all things considered, but the humans have not made all stretches of this water a thing of beauty. Developers treat drainages and creeks like no-mans-land and after dredging and shaping they look like napalm hit. This is an unaltered section of the creek through the village, and I will fight to keep it that way.
