As I noted, I never meant to deny that there's been real damage done to the rain forests... merely to note that the vote to reduce the rainforest to %50 percent is a shelved notion that didn't make it to vote in the Brazilian legislature...

With so much of a real problem there, I'd just rather people knew the real stats...
