Jenny Whitely has a regular gig at the Living Room, the upstairs bar at the Mansion on Princess Street, Kingston, and I have spoken to her a few times there, which is how I know she doesn't have a copy of the CD. It seems we share a taste for violent death in songs, but she is a very well adjusted person all the same.

My only reservation about John Tyrone is that the protagonist is supposed to be a veteran of WW1, and the action happens when he would have a relatively young man, but the song mentions him driving a pick up truck. Does anybody know when pick up trucks became common in rural areas? I suspect not before a WW1 veteran would have been well into middle age.
