Andy indeed sang 'Empty Handed' last time he played for us a few years ago. George Papavgeris (who for who for the benefit of those don't know wrote said song) was also on the bill that night and I think was in tears when Andy sang his song.

In the break I think he broke down again after another of his big heroes made time to come up to compliment him on the quality of his songwriting. It was Ralph McTell.
