Spaw's point is well taken. Other nations, cultures, peoples etc, are not likely to hear us when we say "We fucked up, learn from our mistakes!", because the sense that we benefited from the error overshadows the fact of the continued cost and damage (ie payment) of that benefit. We look hypocritical when in fact we're sounding the alarm.

Trees save lives. Music heals. Both create peace. Ignorance is no defense. Mooh.
