I told this one before but it is worth repeating. I use to play in some of the seediest places you can imagine. I needed the money and they paid well due to the combat zone I was in. One time I was in the wretched bar. I was playing some James Taylor song and in front of me was this couple sitting at the table. His wife or girlfriend was a beautiful blond and she was wearing a skimpy halter top. This drunk walks by, leans over to the girl and says "You have the biggest set of ___ I ever seen". Well her husband/boyfriend whatever was as big as a line backer in the NFL. He gets up, grabs this guy and throws him through the table blasting beer on everyone around them. The people next to them took offense and in turn got up to respond and the whole place turned into the blues brothers movie with fists flying and beer flying. In the meantime, me like the trooper I was, kept right on playing. Every time someone would slide my way I would just take my foot and shove them back into the fight and never missed a chord on the guitar. After the bouncers threw them all out and my time was over, I took my combat pay and when home ... Ahhh the days, for some reason I never went back however. LOL
