We can all have bad days from time to time But I did once have the experience of going to see a certain Irish band in concert. They performed two, exactly 30 minute, sets and as they rose to leave at the end of the second set the leader remarked "and it's no good you clappin' for we're not doing an encore!"

I'd rather be locked in with good music that turfed out from a performer who doesn't care for their audience.
