Thank you all......and not a one of you is late as my birthday really isn't until tomorrow. That's okay.......you're not alone......The state of Ohio has never had it right either but that's a long story.
Didja' ever notice that the older you get, the longer the stories get? And when you tell them, somewhere in the middle you forget why you are telling them at all? And when you try to go back and tie your boring-ass story into something which you have already forgotten, it triggers another memory-fart that starts you on yet another long-winded tale which then follows the same pattern? And then repeats once again?
If a person is intelligent, that process is referred to as the "Wisdom of Age." If they are worldy, perhaps it is called the "Wisdom of Experience." In my case, I overhear people asking, "Who is that dumbass old fuck?" I now reach the point in this story that I no lomger remember why I'm telling it but let me try to wrap it up anyway............................
Geeziz......I can't think of any way to do it with the possible exception of saying how grand it is to have been here at Mudcat all these years in the company of so many dumbass old fucks...........and I love you all.
