Do these TV so-called personalities think that they are immune from criticism, or above the need to display common decency and common sense?
Maybe not, but it's surprising how many of them have the cheek to think they are actually just as entitled to an opinion as anybody else on the planet, and they are often surprised how widely a comment goes and how badly it is taken once amplified in that kind of way.
Public life isn't always all it's cracked up to be. Vilification, justified or not, is always only one yellow tabloid away.
