In "Rainbow Quest" by Ronald D. Cohen (pp80-81)he mentions Ives's appearance before the HUAC on May 20th 1952 and says ........ "He identified four people, including concert performer Richard Dyer-Bennet and Ives's publicity agent Allen Meltzer." He (Ives) also stated that he was not a Communist and had attended various union meetings with fellow folk singer Pete Seeger ........
