While talking in the pub tonight I was reminded of a number of occasions where I came close to "doing in" friends with a well timed one-liner just as they were swallowing or attempting to swallow a mouthful of thier chosen benefit causing them to choke and splutter uncontrollably when turning a worrying shade of purple.

The question is: if they had met their demise as a result, could I have been convicted of murder or manslaughter?
