Hi there this is from Steve!

This is Steve Byrne from Malinky and I played cittern and bouzouki on Marianna on Last Leaves.

The real answer is that the chords largely follow the melody. It was originally played in B minor on a 5-course long-scale cittern tuned DADAD, capoed at the 9th fret, giving BF#BF#B. The drone of the cittern's bass strings allowed a lot of playing around the melody, with the chords mainly working around Bm, A and G.

It was never written down in any way but if anyone really wants the chords try emailing me off-list at - steve at malinky dot com - and I'll do my best to give a basic outline.

thanks!
Steve
