Having nothing better to do en route today from San Diego to Portland, I actually read the Southwest Airlines Magazine -- parts of it, at least.
One interesting tidbit I gleaned from a brief article therein was that "medical research has shown" that people who have owned cats at some time in their lives are about 40% less likely to die from heart attacks than those who never have.
