In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginny
Stood a cow on a railroad track.
She was a good ol' cow with eyes so fine,
But ya can't expect a cow to read a railroad sign.
So she stood in the middle of the track
And the train hit her square in the back!
You'll find her horns in the mountains of Virginny

And her tail on her lonesome spine.
