Thurs, light rain later
Fri, good
Sat, light rain PM. Fuckit.
Sun cloudy but dry later.

Where is our scorching summer when we need it?

The first Harissa I thought I had lost, but I found it in the fridge eventually. Hot but not totally deadly (if you think of it as a curry paste which will be diluted).

The second I think of as the sweet and sour as it has a lot of Cardomom seed kernels in it (they are SO boring to husk) and also honey. It was made with fresh not dried chilis (I only had one scotch bonnet, but I found I had some frozen bird-eyes and some fresh-is big chilis). On tasting I added fresh lime and lemon. It is VERY vigorous (to the extent that the entire bunch of garlic only becomes apparent after about 5 minutes of thinking about the chilis and salt). The recipe turned out to make about a two-pound jamjar full so if you want samples, bring little pots.

I have the followng tents with me for my harem of sheep or otherwise as follows: -

Val's 4-person, for Crow Sister (you will love her singing)
Sam's (he's Rachel's BF)
The bigger one Paul my lodger kidnapped from Download if Rachel wants a bigger space
Or if Rachel doesn't like it the one my own 4-man ridgepole .
In case friends of Kev's turn up to get ratarsed - the little popup that Paul kidnapped as aforesaid that we have now totally fixed and it is most impressive (indeed bodacious dude)

I will also have a gazebo, as my awning is in the pipeline.

I will further have two double airbeds and a single airbed for the destitute temporarily to sleep in luxury, and a camp bed and a a kipmat.
