Subject: RE: Upcoming Events: Dusty Strings, Seattle
Hello again, folks!

I know it's been a while...but we have some great summer events I thought you all would like to know about. First of all, we have a brand new, beautifully revamped website (the URL is still www.dustystrings.com), which should be easier and more fun to navigate. Check it out!

Next week (June 27-28) is our 8th Annual Uke Fest! This event, which includes two days of workshops and a Saturday evening concert, is always great fun--I encourage all ukesters to attend. We've got an excellent lineup this year: Kimo Hussey, Ralph Shaw ("King of the Ukulele!"), James Clem (who wouldn't want to take a "Rockabilly Uke" class, really?) and Sunga Rose.

Also coming up is our very first Kids Camp, which takes place from July 6-10. Kids will have a chance to explore new ways of making music, and will even get a chance to build their own guitars! Anyone who knows children ages 7-10, please let their parents know about it!

Finally, on Saturday, July 18th at 7:30 p.m., Dusty Strings will host a concert with Taylor clinician and Windham Hill artist Chris Proctor. If you'd like to see some serious fingerstyle guitar playing, come on down...tickets are $18.00.

As always, for more information or to sign up for any of these events, stop by the store (3406 Fremont Ave. N, Seattle) or call us at 206-634-1662!

Thanks all!

Cheers,

Molly

P.S. Apologies for the lack of active links...I seem to have lost my knack with the blue clickies. All of the info for the above events can be found if you navigate to the "Music School & Events" page on our website.)
