This evening I spoke with Caroline and David. The great support of so many of you is truly appreciated there in Sharon. Our own grandson will be one year old on the 20th of this month. The sadness of Kaelan's passing has, for us, highlighted the wonder and love Carol and I have for young Byron and his sisters, Siera and Chloe, and of course for Chris and Kat. ---- The Personal emotions I feel since hearing this sad news are complex, surprisingly intense and varied.

It is good to have this thread to try to come to grips with my own feelings now.
