Sorry: I have usually helped downing marquee and de-logging but I was under princess pressure. I can bring sack-barrow (but it only has fairly small wheels) as well as chainsaw (if I remember) in the autumn.

At some point over the event it seems the plot changed, as Fireman Wally told me pretty early on that he was under instructions to burn everything by the end of Sat night - and then suddenly he wasn't.

The location of log dumping has changed over the few years I have been coming, but the present location is better for fire-building.

Log sizes have changed too. It would have been a bit of a pickle both last autumn and this summer if I had not had my chainsaw.
