Claymore,
Haven't been to Shepherdstown in a few years.
Is the Yellow Brick Bank Restaurant still there?
How many of the institutions you mentioned are there courtesy of Senator Robert Byrd?

Janie,
I am from Mingo County but my people are from Cabell and Wayne counties.

Glenville is pretty much the same as it was in 1985.
The hill has gotten steeper, through.
Heard a lot of really great young musicians in the contests this year.
Looks like the music will live on.

For a lot of reasons I would not move back to WV. Once you get beyond/behind the myth of WV, it is not an easy state to reside in. But I do miss it.

I also do Vandalia every year, and Clifftop, and the October Fiddlers' Reunion in Elkins.
Unfortunately, now that the Stonewall Jackson Jubilee is no more, my Labor Day weekend is free.

Kent,
Spaw is not jealous. He is not capable of that level of cognitive activity.
