What them cats do bring in!

One joy was the pigeon they brought in through the cat door. We found lots of feathers scattered about but no pigeon. A day or so later I was rummaging around in the entry closet for some boots when said pigeon exploded from the corner with his remaining wing feathers. I said something the equivalent of "Drat!" He was one game bird, and after finally cornering him, I released him to the wild where, no doubt, he amused his pigeon friends with the tale of his great escape.
